Join us at The Guards Museum for an audience with a retired Guards officer, and be introduced to the Guards by someone with decades of first hand experience. You’ll be welcomed with champagne on arrival, and then tour the museum out of hours, delving into the history of the Guards and hearing personal anecdotes of service and ceremony.
Your host will whisk you on a captivating journey through nearly 400 years of Guards' history, from formation right up to the present day. You'll then have a unique opportunity to share in a personal story - the story of your host's service in the Guards and the British Army.
You'll get an insight into what life is like for an officer in the Guards; operations, postings overseas, meeting the Royal Family and decades of ceremonial experiences. Leaf through our Guards officer's album of photographs and cuttings, take a look at his uniform, and understand the pride with which he wore it.
