Terms & Conditions
Terms and conditions
All tickets to The Guards Museum at Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London SW1E 6HQ with registered charity number 278181 (the ‘Museum’) are subject to these terms and conditions. In booking a ticket, or using a ticket, regardless of whether you were the person who booked it, you understand and agree to these terms and conditions.
All proceeds from ticket, activity and event sales are used to support the charitable objectives of the Guards Museum Trust: to tell the story of the five Regiments of Her Majesty's Foot Guards to the public and new Guards recruits; utilising our collections to give historical context, explaining the dual role of the Guards both in combat and on ceremonial duty, and highlighting their personal experiences.
Any personal details you knowingly provide us with through forms and our email, such as name, address, telephone number etc., whether in booking tickets online or otherwise, will be collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The following terms and conditions do not apply to any products listed for sale on the Museum shop website to which separate terms and conditions apply.
These terms and conditions do not apply to any ticket purchases made via any authorised agent and you should refer to the authorised agent’s terms and conditions if you have purchased tickets via an authorised agent.
THE GUARDS MUSEUM DOES NOT OFFER REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES ON TICKETS.
Please note that tickets are valid for use only for the number of people, on the date and time slot, appearing on the face of your ticket.
Tickets cannot be resold, exchanged or refunded.
Tickets must be presented at the point of entry on the day of your visit. You must be over 18 years old to book tickets through DigiTickets. You are responsible for entering your details correctly when booking a ticket electronically. When booking a ticket through this website, in addition to agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are also agreeing to the standard terms of use of this website, which can be accessed at {insert link}
Entrance
There is no public right of entry into or through the Museum and it is a condition of entry that you abide by the visitor rules in these terms and conditions. The Museum reserves, at its sole and absolute discretion, the right to refuse admission and may on occasion conduct security searches to ensure the safety of visitors. If asked, you must allow our security officers to search your bags when you enter the Museum.
Any ticket re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain without written permission from the Museum becomes void and the holder may be refused entry or ejected from the venue.
Your visit to the Museum, including to any exhibition or event, is at all times subject to any notice to visitors we post on our premises and to the direction, supervision and guidance of our staff and volunteers, which may include directions in relation to health and safety. Accordingly, the Museum reserves the right to place restrictions on the volume of tickets ordered, number of places available for events and activities and timed entry into gallery spaces.

Our maximum liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you paid for your ticket. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit our liability to you for death, personal injury or fraud, or any other liability that cannot, as a matter of law, be excluded or limited.
In the event that the Museum decides to cancel an event, activity, tour or a ticket, or the Museum is required to restrict or limit the number of people entering the Museum in any way, the Museum will contact you to offer one of the following options:
(a) where possible, exchange to another date and time for the same event, tour or activity. Where tickets are exchanged for others of a higher value, you must pay the difference at the time of exchange;
(b) exchange to another tour or activity. Where tickets are exchanged for others of a higher value, you must pay the difference at the time of exchange; or
(d) a full refund, issued using the same method of payment that you used to purchase the tickets.
The Museum reserves, in its absolute discretion, the right to contact you through any means available (including, but not limited to, email, phone call or registered post) depending on the information you have provided, if any, when making a booking.
Please be aware that, if the price paid for your ticket is refunded due to a cancellation, we will not refund the amount of any donation made at the time your ticket was purchased. As a charity, the Museum cannot refund donations except in limited circumstances, such as if your donation has been made as a result of fraud or misuse or in the event of accidental duplicate transactions.
